Electronic Control Systems, LLC Wins Home Safety Council’s 2005 Product Innovation Award

Geoffrey Winters, President & CEO of Electronic Control Systems, LLC/UltraGuard, accepts the 2005 Product Innovation for Consumer Safety Award from Meri-K Appy, President of the Home Safety Council at the Council’s safety awards dinner in Washington on June 30, 2005.

Mr. Winters said, “This important recognition of our life safety products comes on top of UltraGuard’s winning the Judges Choice and Product Achievement awards at the ISC Expo/International Security Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas earlier this year. It shows how concerned the Council is about the threat of carbon monoxide poisoning in the home. In fact, all of Washington D.C. seems to recognize the need for legislative action on this front.”

The Home Safety Council is the only national non-profit organization solely dedicated to preventing home-related injuries that result in nearly 20,000 deaths and 21 million medical visits each year.

ECS headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut, develops, manufactures, and markets proactive carbon monoxide safety systems and detectors under the brand name UltraGuard.
