The marine environment can be hazardous due to a variety of gases. Fuel vapors are especially volatile during refueling and engine starts when blowers should be activated to clear any fumes. The marine product will detect potentially explosive fuel vapors. When high levels are detected the Ultra Guard Marine Alert will sound off an alarm and more importantly prevent an engine start, thereby avoiding fuel vapor explosions.
